Six new directors were elected at the AGM on 29 March 2007, and the new board elected its chair and executive directors at a board meeting thereafter. The 2007 Board of Directors, and the board structure is as follows:

2007 AGM and Special meeting
Six new members were elected to the board of TMA-SA at the AGM held on 29 March 2007:

The Chair submitted his report, and members approved the amended Articles of Association, as well as the 2005 and 2005 Annual Financial Statements.

TMA-SA's submission to dti on draft business rescue legislation
TMA-SA's comments on business rescue provisions as contained in Chapter 6 of the Companies Bill, 2007 can be downloaded at Business rescue legislation comments. It addresses general themes about the draft business rescue legislation as a whole, key success factors for business rescue in South Africa, and comments per section of Chapter 6 of the Bill.
Past conferences
A number of TMA-SA members attended the INSOL conference in Cape Town from 17 - 20 March 2007, while others attended the dti's Companies Bill Conference in Pretoria on 19 and 20 March 2007, with the panel discussion on business rescue of particular interest.
